Cybersecurity is a spectrum, and there is no way to be 100% safe from all threats unless you stay offline. However, the tools below are a good place to start. We recommend using all of them AND educating yourself on evolving best practices.

    Hardware Wallets

Note: hardware wallets are only as secure as your seedphrase back-up method. Remember to keep your seedphrase safe and offline.

Hardware wallets are physical devices that act like a digital vault. They can help protect your funds from hackers, malware, and other threats by keeping sensitive data like seed phrases offline.

The Ronin Wallet app is compatible with all industry-leading hardware wallet providers including Trezor and Ledger.

Ronin Waypoint is a keyless account optimized for the Ronin ecosystem. Play games, create in-game accounts, transact onchain – all without exposing your cold wallet’s seed phrase.

    Passkeys and FIDO Security Keys

Note: While passkeys solutions provide a good balance between security and usability, FIDO security keys provide higher level of security.

FIDO security keys offer an extra layer of protection against phishing and password-based attacks. Use them to protect important accounts like email and social media (when supported), these accounts can be vulnerable to a variety of attack vectors.

FIDO security keys can replace authenticator apps, SMS-based 2FA login methods, and one-time passcodes. Think of them as a set of car keys for your accounts: only the holder of your key can access the protected accounts.

Yubikey is a well-known brand, and you can also use Yubikey as a passkey.

Remember that cybersecurity is a spectrum, and there is no way to be 100% safe from all threats unless you stay offline. That’s why we recommend using the tools above and educating yourself on evolving best practices.
